P. F. Olsen & Co was the first owner, and the building housed separate departments for groceries, meat, fish and game, dairy, and drapery and haberdashery. A ladies' hair salon and a bakery shop followed later.

Today the building is used by, among others, the design store Riis Interiør and a natural medicine centre, as well as several consultancy and trade businesses.
